Latest Updates from Our Project:

Stretch Goal #2 is here. If we reach $40K, breakfast is on us!
over 6 years ago – Fri, Nov 24, 2017 at 05:36:47 PM

Happy Monday,

Our campaign is rumbling along very nicely. As promised, it's time for us to reveal stretch goal #2. As you know, your first coffee is already coming courtesy of us and Jittery John's, but now if our campaign manages to reach the $40K level, we'll be covering your first Rumble Jar breakfast too (unfortunately, this has to be for US backers only...more on that below).

So, a GFB Gluten Free Bar will be given to US backers along with every Rumble Jar they back. Backed our Double Pack tier? In that case, you'll be getting 2 GFB bars. And we'll also be letting you choose from among their 6 flavors when the campaign finishes. Not a gluten free eater? Well neither are we, but we still eat these bars because they’re delicious and made of high quality ingredients. And obviously, their bars taste even better when paired with your own delicious Rumble Jar cold brew. So basically, we've got your entire first breakfast covered!

Stretch goal #2: breakfast is on us! GFB has 6 flavors, and it's your choice.

International backers - We apologize for not being able to include this extra for you! Sending food or coffee abroad is difficult, so we need to just focus on making sure you get your Rumble Jars. That's our priority, and we hadn't fully prepared for how many of you wanted Rumble Jars. But we absolutely promise that our next stretch goal #3 will be one you can enjoy too.

Thanks!

Stretch Goal #1 unlocked! Stretch goal #2 coming Monday
over 6 years ago – Thu, Nov 23, 2017 at 04:01:42 PM

Wooooohooooo!! We've already managed to hit the $30K pledge level, and that means our first stretch goal has been unlocked. So now it's time for the big reveal.

Our third cap color option will be....Kickstarter Green! Congrats to the Kickstarter veterans who guessed it correctly....apparently we're not the first creators to do this.

Cap color option #3: old school Kickstarter Green
Cap color option #3: old school Kickstarter Green

This means all backers will get to choose among 3 different cap colors when our campaign ends: Orangey-Red, Dark Black, and Kickstarter Green. And this "Kickstarter Green" comes with a pretty cool story. You see, when we launched our mystery cap color stretch goal, Kickstarter Green was the color shown in our rendering above. But starting on Wednesday, you may have noticed that Kickstarter totally rebranded their site (we think it looks great by the way!). That old, brighter Kickstarter Green was replaced by a darker shade of green. So no disrespect to the new green, but we wanted to celebrate the old school Kickstarter Green (and we'd already settled on that shade before the rebranding was revealed). To thank it for its service, we're paying homage to the old, brighter green.

And we're not done! We're working away on a really cool next stretch goal. We plan to reveal it on Monday once we've buttoned up the specifics.

Enjoy the weekend!

Announcing our first stretch goal
over 6 years ago – Mon, Nov 20, 2017 at 09:59:39 PM

Rumblers,

This campaign is going incredibly well, so now we're offering up something new. Introducing our first stretch goal: mystery cap color #3! See below for how this works.

Once our campaign reaches a total pledge level of $30K, we'll be revealing this mystery third cap color, and it will then become one of the options you can choose from later. This color's a little more playful and we think you'll love it. But even if you don't, you've still got the other two colors to choose from! Feel free to guess away in the comments below. If you end up getting it right, that 100% confirms you're psychic.

And if you share this campaign on Facebook, we'll hopefully reach the stretch goal quickly! We haven't seen a ton of love on Facebook yet, so that's why we mention it. If you're interested in helping a bit, there's a little Facebook share button at the top of our campaign page, or you can just paste the below project link directly into a post from your Facebook page:

Huge thanks for all your help, and with any luck we'll get to reveal color #3!

International backers: we're open to you!
over 6 years ago – Mon, Nov 20, 2017 at 09:58:45 PM

International folks,

Great news! In response to so many requests for Rumble Jar outside of North America, we've just opened up our campaign to a whole host of new countries. So go give it a try! But please also note there is a caveat: we will not be able to include the Jittery John's coffee sample to any of these newly-added international countries. Sorry about that! It's one of the trade-offs we had to make in order to do this. To compensate, we decided to contribute a bit to your shipping costs, and that's reflected in the shipping rates you see. We will also follow up with all of you before the end of the campaign to make sure you know about that as well. Don't want anyone to be disappointed!

Also, we think we've added all the countries that folks have asked us about, but if there are any that we missed, please just let us know. It does require a bit of homework on our end to figure it all out (that's why it took us this long in the first place), so just be patient while we look into it.

Thanks again to all of you for asking, since we never would have known it otherwise. This is why Kickstarter's the best!

This response has been just....wow

Rumbler friends and fam,

We were not at all prepared to be writing you at this point, so we're scrambling a bit to write this update. But somehow, someway we've reached our campaign goal already! That only took about a day. Shortly before we launched yesterday, we were still discussing whether we should lower our campaign goal because we weren't sure whether we'd hit it by the end of the month. Guess we underestimated people's willingness to hop on this cold brew choo choo train!

So, we first just wanted to say a huge thank you to this community for making it happen. Rumble Jar will be a thing, and you'll be making your own cold brew out of one soon enough.

Second, we've heard a lot of suggestions from folks in the last 30 hours (regarding international shipping and a host of other asks), and we're actively trying to figure out answers and whether we can add reward tiers, change some of our policies, etc. We hear you all, so if you have feedback or ideas, please reach out. We want to know what you want!

Third, not sure if anyone noticed it yesterday, but Kickstarter selected this campaign as a Project We Love and gave us that sweet little green badge under our project video. That's a big honor, so shoutout to them!

(hey, thanks for reading this far down!) Finally, we're working on some ideas for stretch goals. For those new to Kickstarter, stretch goals are additional things that creators offer up if the campaign hits certain higher fundraising totals. We'll be announcing our stretch goals very soon, so keep an eye out for those!

And hey, let's keep this momentum going! If you know any people in the coffee industry or blogs or writers or whoever that might be interested in our product or story, we love talking about it so send them our way!
